Denmark discusses banning hyperflexion or rollkur

The first Rollkur ban went into effect January 1st, 2014 in Switzerland, and it looks like it may put pressure on other Countries to follow suit.

Denmark is now in more serious talks about applying a similar ban.

Of course it will be interesting to see how this develops in Denmark. Last year Danish horse breeder John Byrialsen  was accused of neglect this last year, with some pretty damning video evidence.

What do you think of these rollkur/hyperflexion bans? What is the FEI's appropriate response when they make allowances for a technique that is criminal in certain countries?
