Alayne Blickle created Horses for Clean Water in 1997 and has teaching environmentally sensitive horse keeping practices through classes, workshops, demonstration farms, farm tours, and individual consultations since.
Based out of the Pacific Northwest, Horses for Clean Water also makes available an online newsletter, The Green Horse as well as other educational materials for those looking to see what eco-friendly horse keeping is about before they jump in with both feet.
I've attended a few workshops and visited demonstration farms when I was still living in Seattle, WA; the information is diverse and motivational.
